I chose Siam Journey Guesthouse because it was conveniently located near the Suan Pakkard Palace, which I really wanted to visit. I was pleasantly surprised by the communal kitchen, where guests can prepare their own meals. It was clean and well-equipped, making it easy for me to save money on dining out. Additionally, having a bar on-site was a nice feature, providing a convenient option for relaxing and socializing.

Upon entering, there was a slight odor by the doorway, possibly due to guests taking off their shoes as required. The water in the bathroom also had an unpleasant smell, and we even found a used q-tip on the sofa.

This charming guesthouse is tucked away on a quiet street surrounded by local houses, creating a unique village-like atmosphere in the bustling city.

I had a fantastic time at this guesthouse! I originally booked for just one night but ended up extending my stay because I loved it so much. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the Phaya Thai BTS and airport train station. It made getting around Bangkok a breeze. There are also plenty of things to do within walking distance, and the street food nearby is amazing and affordable. The atmosphere at the guesthouse is great, with a relaxed and friendly vibe. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and the staff were always helpful. I even got to hang out with them and other guests in the common area, sharing food, drinks, and stories. I highly recommend staying here!
